I’ve bought 'atmosphere' lamps before that were just blurry, but this textured glass shade is the real deal. It casts these beautiful, crisp light waves all over the walls and ceiling. It honestly looks like sunlight reflecting off the bottom of a pool. If you put it near a corner, the effect is even more dramatic. It’s the most relaxing thing to have on while winding down for bed.
